You have to feel it to heal it, so you can align with your inner divine.
When you close your eyes, there is a rich world waiting to love you, heal you and connect with you. Your feelings will show you the way.
So, if you landed here, chances are that you are searching for meaning and truth. You long for inner connection because something is off inside. But, how do you get there when you are so overwhelmed and stuck in your head?
I get it.
In your search for some peace and balance, you may have read some books, maybe attended seminars, done a few affirmations, meditated, or maybe you have not done anything and simply do not know where to begin.
You have this unexplainable feeling of disconnection and you just can’t seem to shake it off. You are searching for yourself. You are searching to connect with a higher power. You want to get out of a loop. You do not have rest, inner peace or direction.
You are tired.
I have been there. I have walked in the shadows in search of the light. I have felt complete nothingness despite what my outer world may have looked like.
There is a lot of “spiritual” advice out there that can seem like the answer to everything, yet the truth is there is not one single tool or answer to everything. There is so much pressure in the self-help world to “just be happy”, “let go”, “be grateful”.
The overused “light and love” memes and social media posts with green juice, yoga poses and meditation backdrops can drive anyone nuts. You just can’t seem to connect with all of these messages about 24/7 happiness, yoga, meditation and law of attraction.
Let me let you in on a secret (not really). There is no such thing as 24/7 happiness.
We are human and living in a complex world of many interactions, energetic mingling and tons of challenges.
The fast food like approach to spirutiality does not create permanent change. To truly transform, you need time, patience and tons of self-love. Transformation is all about small changes over a long period of time, while accepting that occasionally, you will take a few steps back.
The key for me, and it’s what I want to teach you, is to learn how to ground yourself so you can listen to your inner world and manage any challenge that comes your way.
You can’t reach a state of peace, and connect with those overused social media memes until you first learn to sit with your mess. By that, I mean that until you come face to face with your yucky feelings and the messy parts of your life, you cannot automatically get happy by just doing affirmations, drinking green juice and meditating.
There is no fast track to happiness. There is no magic pill. Believe me I have tried it all.
You have to see, feel and own the darkness before you can transform it. I have learned that progress is not linear, and there isn’t one final destination of light and love. It’s a constant evolution where you learn to witness your darkness, and find out what it’s trying to teach you, while you infuse love into the process.
Learning how to be gentle and compassionate with yourself is the most important step, as you release the thoughts, feelings and beliefs that hold you hostage and that block you from truly connecting to that inner voice of love.
I know desperation first hand and I know what it looks like to “have it all” on the outside but feel completely empty and disconnected inside. Not that long ago, I was at a point in my life where I was searching for answers and desperate for deep healing. I was lost, confused and spiraling quickly.
Thankfully, fate intervened and I met my mentor. I immediately felt comfortable, seen and understood. Through my work with her, I learned to listen to my inner wisdom, connect with my body for guidance and surrender to the flow of life.
